Overview
Sector Skills Councils (SSCs) are state-sponsored, employer-led organisations that cover specific economic sectors in the UK.
Role
Each economic sector has four key goals focused on reducing skills gaps and shortages; improving productivity; boosting skills of sector workforces; and improving learning supply. Sectors bring together employers, educators and the Government to address industry issues.
