Latest policies and approaches
In recent years, the Government has established a number of diverse policies and approaches. They cover:
- broad initiatives aimed at creating or improving programmes and structures to benefit all schools and students
- programmes targeting a specific area or group of students or teachers.
These initiatives will change the organisational and physical structure of many schools, and this may (positively or negatively) affect schools' capacity to engage with employers. This section includes a brief description of the latest far-reaching initiatives, many of which present immediate opportunities for employers to get involved and make a timely contribution to the education of young people.
